No, I’m not talking about the hilarious movie from the 90’s. I’m talking about your work space. Whether you are at home or work the number one question to ask yourself is: Is my space working hard for me? Or am I working hard for my space? The spaces that we occupy should be inspiring, functional and allow you to interact with others. Your space should inspire you to work, to be creative and to be happy. Functionally, every object should have a purpose with a space for everything.
Break out of your comfort zone. Allow yourself to interact with others and collaborate. Take down the walls and allow casual meeting areas like:
Create an intimate meeting area in a large or small space with Camp Fire. The large pendant light gives the feel of a lower ceiling without the cost of construction.
Fit Chairs from Kimball
Sit back and relax in these unique chairs from Kimball. They are like infant bouncy seats for adults!
Basil from Carolina Business Furniture:
Basil can be configured into a multitude of shapes and designs. Whether it’s to create a small intimate conversation area in a large space or allow seating for a large variety of people. Basil does it all while looking fabulous at the same time.
I could go on and on about interesting workspaces but these are just a few……Do you have an interesting workspace that you love? Please share.
