Room Rave ~ Bellagio Las Vegas

December 12, 2011

Lately I have been spending a lot of time in the city of Las Vegas.  My most recent trip included a stay at the luxurious Bellagio Hotel located on Las Vegas Boulevard (aka The Strip).  Currently they are in the process of renovating their 3,933 guest rooms and my last visit was on a freshly renovated floor, lucky me!

Every time I look at the Bellagio, I think of that great movie Ocean’s 11 where they all stand around watching the fountains in front of the resort.

The Bellagio’s new look is fresh and colorful.  Upon entering your room, the first thing you see is the wall behind the bed filled with a colorful flower pattern.

The color scheme is primarily green and purple which is highlighted in the fun carpet pattern.

The bed linens are simple and clean.

The nightstand and the built in organization center are both topped with white and gray marble.

Notice conveniences such as ipod docking stations, power hubs, USB support and other ways to ‘stay connected’.

The bathroom has a spacious sink area, large jacuzzi tub and glass walled shower.

Throughout the room (and corridors) are lovely photographic images by artist Damon Clarke.  His images are available here.

Bon Voyage!

*All the photos (other than the fountains of Bellagio) were taken with my very old iphone.  Hopefully now that I have my new and improved iphone 4s my photos will be MUCH better!
